Nissan has issued a recall for over 82,000 examples of its previous-generation Navara ute and Tiida small car as part of the ongoing Takata airbag campaign.
The claws of the Takata airbag saga have reached further into Nissan’s model range, with the carmaker forced to expand the recall program for its Tiida small car. Tiidas built between October 2006 and December 2012 are now also on the list, with
Nissan Australia is recalling 41,154 vehicles from its ‘C11’ Tiida line produced between October 2006 and December 2012 as part of the ongoing Takata airbag scandal, with concerns that excessive internal pressure could rupture the airbags and scatter metal fragments into the cabin.
